A valuable TV becomes a problem when carrying it slows your escape. This Criminal Simulator skills guide covers the character upgrades and tools that help you bring more loot home in the Roblox game. Spend around the obstacle holding you back: movement speed, lifting strength, or access to locked rooms.
Which Character Upgrades Should You Buy?
Focus on running shoes and Lifter as you build up your equipment. Both address problems you encounter during ordinary house robberies, so choose between them based on what keeps interrupting your runs.
- Running shoes improve movement speed. Buy them when traveling between houses, hauling loot back to the truck, or escaping danger is taking too long.
- Lifter improves your ability to handle stolen items. Invest in it when heavier valuables are beyond your strength or carrying larger objects is limiting your haul.
Heavy objects can slow you down, so strength alone does not make every large item an easy payday. Before grabbing a TV, check the route back to your vehicle and watch for residents.
Start on classic normal mode and play solo while learning the robbery loop. Higher difficulties offer better earnings, but practice entering houses and returning safely before increasing the risk.

Buy Tools That Open More Loot Opportunities
Use the computer at your hideout to purchase equipment and upgrades. Some purchases require higher levels, so check what is available before planning a robbery around a particular tool.

Lockpick and Glass Cutter
Buy a lockpick when locked doors are blocking your route. It lets you enter locked areas and reach additional rooms. At a locked door, look directly at it and hold E to pick the lock.
Buy a glass cutter for quieter window entry. Throwing a rock through glass creates noise that residents can hear. Cutting a window reduces the noise involved in getting inside, making it useful when an occupied house has valuables within reach.
Keep crouching after entering. A quieter entry does not remove the need to avoid residents.
Specialized Equipment
Add these tools when you have a specific use for them:
| Equipment | Function |
|---|---|
| Blowtorch | Opens safes |
| AC gas | Puts people inside a house to sleep |
| Card machine | Extracts money from stolen credit cards |
| Baseball bat | Can knock residents out |
The card machine can stay at your hideout or travel with you. If you bring back stolen credit cards, use the machine to turn them into money.
Avoid treating the baseball bat as protection against every threat. Armed security guards in houses and mansions can take you down quickly; plan your route around them.
Fund Upgrades With Valuable, Manageable Loot
Prioritize valuables you can carry out efficiently. Diamond rings, gold watches, tablets, game consoles, drones, and gift cards are all worth looking for. Check outside houses, too: items can be left on benches, giving you something to collect without entering a building.
Follow this collection loop:
- Check the job board and your quota. Complete tutorial objectives as you go, since objectives also award money.
- Collect valuables and store them in the truck. Return to the vehicle regularly instead of keeping your entire haul inside the house.
- Head back to the hideout. Plan around the job board’s instruction to return by 7:00 a.m.
- Unload into the selling crate and activate it. Selling earns only a portion of an item’s listed value.
Judge your progress by the money actually credited toward your quota. An expensive-looking haul does not guarantee that the sale will cover what you need.
Put earnings toward the limitation you encountered during that trip. If locked doors stopped you, buy access tools. If you left valuable objects behind because of their weight, work toward Lifter.
Protect Your Nights With Stealth
Hold C to sneak around houses, and stay close to exterior walls while approaching. Residents can react to both noise and being able to see you, so watch their positions before moving through occupied rooms.
Smashing windows and attacking residents can turn a simple robbery into a police response. If someone detects you, leave promptly: police do not necessarily arrive immediately, giving you an opportunity to get away before they reach the scene.
Getting caught can cost you loot and skip a day. With only three days or nights available for robberies, that lost time cuts into your chances of meeting the quota.
You also cannot head home while wanted. Escape the police before trying to end the trip, and avoid carrying a heavy object through an active chase. Leave bulky loot for a safer opportunity when its movement penalty would put the rest of your haul at risk.
